Cherie Priest
Come experience an evening of horror and laughs!

Folks on the Crypticon Board are working hard to make the con the best it can be. For this reason, they are doing a special event for horror fans in advance of the convention itself.

This fundraising event will not only raise money for the convention, but it will show how enthusiastic Seattle fans can be about their horror!

So! Come on out! If you love horror, love horror writers, and love horror books, show your support!

Two lovely and talented horror writers have agreed to come out and read to us.

Cherie Priest has a full publication list that includes the novel Fathom, published in 2008 by Tor. She is an associate editor at Subterranean Press. They've recently released Cherie's Those Who Went Remain There Still, a novel. Her short stories have appeared in Apex Digest, Subterranean Magazine, Noctem Aeternus, The Edge of Propinquity, and the anthology Mythic Delirium, among others.

Caitlin Kittredge
Caitlin Kittredge is the author of the Nocturne City series of novels, including Night Life, Pure Blood and the soon-to-be released Second Skin. She is responsible for the upcoming Black London adventures for St. Martin's Press, as well as the Icarus Project superhero saga for Bantam Spectra (with Jackie Kessler).

Best of all, they love horror. I love horror. You love horror.

You're not just getting a show with spooky, sassy, talented writers and a crazy zombie-demon improv troupe, you're casting your vote for the ONLY horror fan convention in Seattle.

"Wait!" you ask. "Did you say zombie-demon improv troupe?" Indeed, I did. There will be hilarious horror improv too! The Blood Squad!

Come out and show your horror solidarity! It's only $10. You can get your ticket in advance.

Reserve your spot in advance! Click here.

Wish I could be there. Can you move this to Virginia?

FYI, Cherie appeared in Mythic 2, not Mythic Delirium. I know, same publisher, it's a little confusing.

Oh! Hehe. I was quoting directly from her webpage (http://www.cheriepriest.com/order-the-book/). I wonder if I should mention it to her?

I think I need to keep it as it is, until I hear different from her. But, thanks for the heads-up!
